Like there's no way that the fans reaction was a calculated thing, but goddammit, it's kind of beautiful! If people didn't like the DOW games enough to argue about them, GW would not reference the Blood Ravens in anything else. I found it pretty hilarious though, because I expect nothing in those games to be cannon, their video games and GW doesn't seem to be interested in doing any QC on video games for their franchise, you know? And yet I keep seeing you guys here and elsewhere raging about how in one of the expansions for DOW 1 the Force Commander can equip a hammer called Rogal Dorn's Fist followed by really funny, mock rage threads of 'How where the Ravens able to steal all of these relics!?'

There is plenty wrong with the story (that I, of course, had no idea until after I started hanging around this sup and the lexicanum). Blood Ravens are borderline renegade so I see no problem here.Д®DIT: Accidentally called the Blood Ravens the Blood Angels.ДЇrom a lurker's perspective: I felt like you guys made the stuff that went on in that game cannon. IG Spacemarines and Sisters of Battle having a free for all slug out with each other, etc. I don't remember a whole SECTOR being exterminatus'd, was this in retribution? Inquisition randomly declaring exterminatus on a sector not yet lost, Do you mean Sindri? He was Chaos Undivided, so summoning Khornate demons/being possessed are fine. This is why I do not consider SS or Goto's novels as canon as they get so much stuff wrong that they can be completely refuted. The actual events of the games though are up for debate, but until there is something directly contradicting things that happened (Someone mentions that the Ultramarines fought Sindri and Bale on Tartarus and not the BR) than they are to be taken as canon. Again, this is not counting the Goto books because they the worst. This is just conjecture without evidence though so here goes.Д«lood Ravens are canon, they are mentioned (or at least referenced) in at least 2 BL books (I've only personally read one myself but heard there are others) as well as White Dwarf.

I personally did not make this mod at all, and all credit is due to Balnazzar and. increases caps, adds a few new units, and over all increases replayability. This is the Annihilation Mod (version 11.2) for Dawn of War: dark crusade, for use ONLY for Dark Crusade. I haven't played Retribution so can't speak for it. Dawn of War: Dark Crusade - Annihilation Mod v11.2. Chaos Rising is also fine, people complain that Eliphas changed from the Word Bearers to Black Legion but that shit happens all the time. Soulstorm can go suck a dick, as can the Goto books.ДoW 2 was fine if I remember correctly, the Eldar motivation for things was a bit iffy but I don't care enough about the Eldar to look into whether it makes sense. I would consider DoW 1, Winter Assault and Dark Crusade to be fine. Lore wise, well now we get into the nitty gritty. Gameplay wise, it is considered as canon as the tabletop (i.e not at all for obvious reasons). You are going to have to be a little more specific. Welcome to the fun world of 'How canon is this?'!
